hey romulus..after you flash the firmware i gave to you does your player is a USB disk already but still white screen?..

Yes, its a USB device, i can use it as "usb stick"
screen is white at start and when windows identy it, screens changes to black

i have no idea, i think its just a 1 GB sub stick now ;(

hey romulus1..maybe you should repeat the dead recovery guide..put back your player in ADFU mode then flash again the firmware i gave you..just try..it should work..

Hi romulus1 did you ever find firmware for your player?I have the exact same one and am having trouble as well.Tried all kinds of firmware.One firmware gave me back my menu only setting and radio icon work though,but still not right.Get disk error on all other icons.If you have found proper firmware could you please send me a link thank you.

veryboard,for the "disk error" you just FORMAT your player using Mp3 Utilities Disk Tool or on Windows.

If it doesn't work,explore the SYSTEM menu of your player then on ONLINE MODE choose NORMAL ONLY.Then format again your player.

And then it should work now.

Hello MaVi-
I've seen your post. I've got a new Mp4 - just like you have put in the post - QY-066fvo 2007.05.11 Samsung 846 K9G8G08U0B.
My problem is that when I switch on I get a BLUE SCREEN & the HOUR Watch - and can't do anything else. When I try to conect to pc -XP pro. USB - cant connect.
Don't know what to do - Can you please help me.
