Re: dead mp4 player no brand
zrock already posted a link to the probable firmware to fix your player. You wont fix the old firmware thats already on it and has malfunctioned, it's beyond repair. You must flash a new firmware to the device.
If your computer recognizes your player ie; a usb icon appears in the taskbar near the clock when you connect it then it's either an Adfu device only visible in device manager/usb controllers or is seen as a Hs Usb Disk with a drive letter assigned then you should use Mp3 Player Upgrade Tool, which is part of Mp3 Player Utilities 4.15 available free in the download section, to flash the firmware that zrock linked to earlier onto your player. Make sure there aren't any chinese characters in the filename of the downloaded firmware before you attempt to flash the device or you'll get an error about wrong protocol. Chinese characters appear as squares or other strange shapes on an English pc, just re-name the firmware file leaving only normal alphabet letters. If your player flashes successfully but after restarting it is still not functional after performing the above steps then post again as you'll need to keep looking for the correct firmware...good luck. |
Re: dead mp4 player no brand
still no joy m8
it did not work    |
Re: dead mp4 player no brand
ftp://mympxplayer:mympxplayer@218.97....51_070526.rar
This appears to be the only other firmware for your particular board at the s1mp3 english site. Give it a try anyway, you can only end up with the same blue screen again if it doesn't work. |

Re: dead mp4 player no brand
i have just bought a identical player from ebay
can i clone the working one and flash my broken 1 too repair if so what and how is the best method (i.e best program/s to use and instruction on how too do it ) and thank you all for your help in the past and hopefully after this |
Re: dead mp4 player no brand
yes you can.be sure its really an identical with your dead player..same RAM and FLASH chip.you can use s1clone heres the link below..
http://www.stud.uni-karlsruhe.de/~uw...in32_setup.exe s1clone is user friendly you can learn it in a flash.:) Frequently Asked Questions On s1clone: The application fails to run! the application expects the "libusb0.dll" to be present either in the application path or inside window's "system32" folder. this dll is attached to the s1clone archive, inside the "usb_driver" folder. if not done already, please copy this file to the location where you have extracted "s1clone.exe" before. instead, you could also install the libusb driver which will automatically copy the needed dll to your windows system32 path. What to do on the "Semaphore Timeout has expired" exception? it seems this problem isn't caused by the player, but by the computer itself. some usb ports (maybe v1.1 ports), don't work properly with the libusb/swan driver. using another computer to clone the player may fix this problem. top |
same problem
I have the same problem i have three identical fake ipod
chip: AK1025 board: cj91-808 2007.1.19 screen 080204lkd-t1.72 one is functioning the other two give a blue screen on boot. Explorer doesn't recognize them, but device manager see an usb adfu device (?) Still i cant get the player in real adfu mode, mp3 disk tool can't see it. What i do wrong ? |
