Found firmware SPCA536 (Probably)
 

Hello,

First of all I want to apologize for my english...

I probably found a firmware for Sunplus SPCA536 Chipset.
If you have dead player with that chipset and know how upload new firmware to your device it could be helpful ;]

If someone could fix his player with this file please help other people and write how you do that.

I dunno how to upload this firmware to my player.
My PC can't see my mp4.

I have fake Sony PMP680:
2,5" TFT LCD
asf/mp3/wma/wav
TV in & out
SD Card reader

But my has 512MB built-in memory

hey thanks a lor for ur reply.
can u tell me exactly how did u brick ur player?
and can u also tell me which pin did u short for windows to recognice it?
i would really appreciate if u can upload the pictures of the sd ran that u shorted. thank u.

i am really happy that atleast u can make the windows to recognise ur device.don worry u ll b able to recover it completely.
just install the player using its drivers.and then use the same upgrading tool which u used before to upgrade a new firmware.but this time make sure that u r upgrading the right firmware. and thanks a lot again for ur valuable reply.

i tried all the possible combinations,but still couldn connect the player to the computer.any ways probably my player is complete broken. never mind at least if u can recover ur player then i ll be really happy for u.

Heh... unfortunatly i can't upload new firmware...
After installing drivers for my player windows can't switch it on (code 10)
and because of that ISPv5.2.2 can't see my device.

But it so close... I hope that You will also make your player alive.
