Please insert a disk into drive G: and H:

Hello everybody;
First of all i want to thanks the administrator and the moderators for this incredible forum full in informations.

Second i want to ask how can i know if the problem is about a hardware or software (Firmware) reasons for any dead player?
and by the way i didn't find any software extractor for Rockchip if u help me to find it.

And i have a MP4 player like IPod fake i find the firmware (Anyka) of it but when i finish the format and the device write "USB DISK" 2 Disk will appear(H: and G: ) but the problem is when i click on these drives a message "Please insert a disk into drive H: or G:".

In a normal status when i click on any disk it open and i copy the firmware into it but in mine there is no response.
So please if anybody can help me and thanks

Okay,tear apart your player and look for a chip like here:

http://s1mp3.org/en/docs_hwspecs.php#atj2085

State if the chip is ATJ or not.

is there a drive with 16MB or 32MB?did u try format the drive with ur mp4?

Format your player, using your player's bios function. guide is in anyka re-updated post.

interuptor0 my drives is totally full with 0 bytes.
and sak_cheegii i maked format by the bios function and all the operation worked normally but when i try to open the disks to copy the firmware there is no places in disks. i think that's about a hardware prob. maybe the flash disk is broken.

maybe the flash chip have to do master reset or is spoiled.
