Have a look at this post here:

It will require you to open up your player though to find the board and chipset numbers/versions.

This will help more in finding a compatible firmware.

mrdax,your player would be using version 3.xx.xx firmwares maybe you should try all the version 3.xx.xx firmwares at the download section.You can try also the firmwares here:
