Widows won't recognize player
 

Every time I plug my Silverado in to my PC I get the Message "USB Device Not Recognized" One of the USB Devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. ...

The device is not listed on my drive list. Becuase of this I can't try to flash it or reinstall firmware because the tools can't see the devise. I have tried to reinstall the driver with no luck. Does anyone have any ideas about how to get Windows to recognize it.

Forgot to mention. The device plays and functions normaly when not connected to the machine. The only problem I have is that without it being recognized I can't move files on or off the Silverado.

Hi there cognos,try to plug your player to another PC,if still dont work plug it again on another PC..

You could also try ANOTHER USB cable as well as there has been afew members who have had a similar problem and it was because of a FAULTY USB Cable.
