Ipod Clone 8GO is Dead[resolved]
 

Hi,

I have a problem with my player, on start i have this screen freezed ...

Windows xp(32) don't recognize any more the driver, i have open the mp4, and the composants are :

I have try the driver AdfuUpdate.inf, ipod is recognize by windows xp, but not visible :roll:

Thank you , but i need the good driver before, because Ipod clone
is not visible on my computer with driver AdfuUpdate.inf, just detected, and original rockusb driver don't work .... :roll:

Hi bygben.
I have the same with similar diagnostic. It should be detected as Actions USB 2.0 (HS), as processor is AK1025 as mine. I believe you should try firmare from Actions.
I´m still trying too:lol:
I hope I can find the right one. Is yours "4Gb"?

My Mp4 is 8 GO version , without the damned driver cannot upload the firmware ..

bygben,
I noticed the driver (for Actions USB devices) was installed on my computer after installing MP3 Player Upgrade Tools. Have you already installed that application?
I have a second fake Ipod 8Gb, generation 3, working poperly.
It´s FW version is QS91B03FGD17, 9.1.52.

But even I can download firmware to my fake dead IPOD, I couldn´t revive it. Maybe it is because I didn´t find the right firmware, yet.

I keep lookin gor it!! I´ll find it!!

I have installed ADFUUpdate.inf from MP3 Player Utilities 5.09 and i have same problem, i thing that my mp4 is really dead...

Use s1clone application. Extract firmware first and write it into your player after.

Please tell us what version of MP3 Player Utilities you used or what application, and the dumped file.

Hello bygben.I used your firmware but now the player shut down after a few seconds.I can see it in the explorer but i can t use Rdiskupdate because it says me that the device isnt connected.Any solutions?
