My computer cannot recognize my dead Mp4 player

I have a fake ipod nano 1GB but i had destroyed it's firmware, so now it has a black screen, and it has been not recognized when I plugged it into my PC. I'm so sad :cry: . What could i do now to repair it? Anyone help me,please

open your ipod and short the pins of your ROM it should recogonise after that as adfu device
