Sunplus spmp 3052A firmware
 

I have this mp4 player 1gb flash with a slide panel. I actually bought it from cdrking.
it looks like this:

it has a blue screen background but it doesn't have fm radio, calendar, and time function. I've tried firmwares that i downloaded from this site but I ended up having a white screen or sometimes the power in on but the screen is still black.

can you guys tell me how to enable these features?

You can't enable FM, Calendar or Clock, as the player doesn't have onboard clock or FM radio, they just don't work. I haven't found any single compatible firmware that wasn't the original one..

I too have the same player but i still dont get that how to make the player to go in software mode or to make the player to detect as the camera to load the firmware in it.I have read the guide but didn't able to make it in camera mode ........... may be becasue my player is not showing anything just when i press the power button it show the green light and i have checked it completely on the hardware it is fine ,there is not hardware problem in it......it is just showing that it needs the firmware.

Of course, I've seen the same type of PMP with Sisis processor and Sunplus processors, get into recovery mode in Sisis it's simples : press ESC while you connect the device on the computer, and Sunplus it's a combination of keys, in my case, it was A + OK.

but anyway, is it still possible if i had someone add a fm or clock thing on the mp4 to be enable the clock and fm function?

The fm function is not only based on the software or the firmware ,if your mp4 have the FM-CHIP then you can change the software to add the fm function on the mp4 player.Other wise you have to put the FM-CHIP in the player and then use the right firmware for it and then FM will start to work

its been one year now..it was working perfectly..but somehow yesterday when I was playing an nes game it crashed and now it does'nt even switch on.sometimes it does but crashes
I think I need to reload the firmware.WHEN IT WAS WORKING ,it had a blue background behind the menu.So plz tell which firmware is compatible.

It has worked within 4 days and then have died.
I know how to switch it into programming mode (hold down 'M' or 'camera' key and plug USB cable) and I've already tried a bunch of firmwares. Chipset - SMP3052a hynix etc... But no results. I've backed up my original firmware, but I think that it's broken. When I am trying to re-load it into player - it freezes somewhere about 80%. I've tried to wait about 3 hours and no results.

All another firmwares gives a lot of bugs (reversed picture, screen blinking, no sound, shuffled buttons etc.)

Could anyone help me with that? I like this gadget, but I hate this problems :evil:

you can fix the original firmware if you have 80% of it.if your firmware carries the .bin files then you can change anything in the firmware or replace from other firmware but dont replace the (.bin) files.

Thank you for your reply! I guess that all files from my firmware was lost :(
I've saved AIMG and DefaultFw.bin, but they are broken. FRMPro hangs up on ~80% when writing this files back to player. There is no error messages, just freezing on 80%.
Is that possible to do something with this files? Or can you help me to find an exact firmware for my player?

Hello every one can you please help me with my gameboy mp4 player or pmp i broke my pmp trying to upgrade the firmware and now i need a firmware to fix it and with all i found here and on other sites the pmp either started with a withe screen and the computer would have recognizet it has an memory stick or with others didnt recognizet at all and gets stuck at light your life logo and every time i get this error when triyng to upgrade the firmware u see on this image http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/3...socorrowy6.png the pmp looks simmilar to this http://www.hm2k.com/posts/ihtoom-pmp it has a SUNPLUS SPMP3052A-HL171 0811 M181R29 chip , SAMSUNG 813 k9g808u0m and another chip wich i cant read these chips are all under the lcd the lcd is soldered on the board and on the stripe that connects to the lcd is this code YXD02837L01-03 on the board is SK612B-070811 on the back side of the board there is a camera that is suposed to be a 2mp camera it has a code ST30 and the numbers 1 24 i belive these are the pins i was able to play gameboy gameboy color nintendo nes and sunplus .bin games had radio but the radio didnt work i only could listen to a local radio station with lots of static the problem was when i tried to quit a gbc game i had to press reset if i want to update firmware i have to connect usb cable holding esc button pressed it then recognise the device has a web camera and if i try to uset with yahoo messenger it crashes the computer. Sorry for my bad english Im from Romania.
