Player stuck on locked.
 

A friends touch screen mp4 from www.tinydeal.com was upgraded with the latest firmware from that site, but now, the player works except you cannot do anything with it. It is stuck on "locked" (hold) so you cannot do anything or access the upgrade mode, ANY help is highly appreciated.

I have 2 weeks to fix it before they go away.

Try pressing the button at the top of the player.

i have the same problem, i tried pressing the button on/off of my mp4 player, but it didn't work. i tried to format it using the Windows XP CD format, but it didn't work. the mp4 player has no material problem, the problem began since i upgraded it using a wrong firmware.

hmm, this is really annoying.

What I mean is once you hold down the power on and it is on just press the power button down once.

you said your mp4 player works; Enter the menu "setup" (from your mp4 player), select "onligne mode" then change "encrypted" to "multi disc"
-if your player does not work(dead) you have the same problem like me.
