Default 3g nano clone sometimes turns off and gets stuck

i got a 8 gb 3g nano clone off ebay for my brother but he didn't like it so i kept it. its had minor problems that weren't that bad (songs that i upload randomly turn to weird text and don't play). The other night i was studying at the libary and was listening it for about 2 hours, the longest i have ever for this player (gave to brother in jan gave back in late feb) and it just randomly turned off. Now its completly random how far it wants me to get. when u first turn it on theres a blue screen with an hour glass and the computer does not see it and it likes to get stuck here the most. turning it on and off sometimes passes this and i can usb it. if i got to music it sometimes turns off and on and gets stuck again. but the very rare chance it passes the music part and allows me to listen to the last song i listened to but after its done or if i choose a different song by chooseing it or cliking next it turns off then on.

i think it could be the fireware? i googled it and thats how i found this forum, i tried many things like the s1clone and some1 elses fireware with the updating utlities 3.68 that came with it but their all different and it says fireware is wrong type

its a xintai mp3 player <- this is different from most i've read here

Unfortunately for you, those are some common signs of the player being hacked, I recommend you use this guide: http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html
