2gb mp4 digital player stuffed up

can someone help me fix. my mp4 is stuffed up it stays stuck at the hourglass loading screen. i updated the firmware using FirmwareModify.exe i used s1fwx and its programs to extract the original firmware i have got the because i backed it up but now th player wont get past the loading screen therefore my player wont come up on my computer so i cant replace the firmware with the original one. in my custom firmware used the ipod theme 128*128 from etronicsland or somthing and i used its directory as the bmp then i used that firm ware and now its stuck i cant do anything now

use other battery if you have an extra one.You can use any 3.6V or 3.7V Lithium-Ion cellphone battery.Take it easy don't feel the rush. :)
