Looking for 693C-SL main v1.3 2005.1214 FC0340 FRE 060823
 

Hi Guys!

I have 2 ipod nano clones - china made. don't know how it happened but it just died down on me. no power, no display. it will only initialize when plugged into usb port but afterthat it will render USB not recognized.

I already tried the dead player recover guide but still did not get any response on the unit when using the "twiser method on the chip"

maybe someone can help me out here....

so far the FW i got from the link you gave me is the 693C-SL FW. now my problem is how can i upload it again on my player?

since my mp3 is not recognized when plugged in the usb port?

kornets08,do the Dead Player Recover Guide again.You know this "recovering a dead player" thing works on a trial & error method.Make sure your player is turned on when doing the "tweezer method on the chip".

Update:

i was able to borrow a new cable from a friend and tried to tweak again the mp3 player...

i was able to make it detect the ADFU device... but when uploading the firmware this is the error message:

seems i still cant recover the units.....

btw if any body wants to buy these 2 units just pm me.
