i cannot open my player (disassemble)
 

my player was dead because i upgraded it with incorrect firmware.

i couldn't follow the dead player recovery guide because i cannot disassemble my player. it does not have "front and back" parts because its circuit board in enclosed in like a cylinder. it only has two screws at the bottom, instead of four.

what shall i do?

i have one just like that i opened it but im not sure if it will close cos i broke som of the plastic. im still tryin to recover my dead player.

unscrew it then slowly put like a flat head where the play button is and lift it and do the same for ring around with next and previous.

then you should see a white coloured plastic under it
then use your flathead at the top where the on and off button is put the flathead and find a gap or make one and slide it under it to make it bigger then pull with the flat head towards the direction of pulling it out

try to update if have time
