recovereing my player
 
Hi everyone

i've got my player in adfu and i tried to change fimrware to the one i xtracted
but the mp3 upgrade tool says read or write device information failed! please exit the program and check if the device is connecting oh yeah can someone give me a firmware for a ak1025 ipod clone 2nd gen 1.2 - 1.5 inc screen somthing of that size the book says its 128*128

Have a look at this post here --> S1 MP3 PLAYER firmware download site - s1fw.com.

However, it involves opening up your player to find it's Board ID and chipset/firmware version as well....

thanks mate

ill try and get my firmware and see if it works but it always says failed whenever i try to upload firmware in mp3 upgrade tools but will give try since your admin

moneybankz,try to use a compatible full firmware so that errors like you have encountered won't happen again.If your firmware can nowhere be found maybe the best for you to do is wait,cause you may not know something is coming.Then like what sir admin said, Board ID and Chipset/Firmware version of your player is the best known basis to find a compatible firmware.

thanks for the advice both of you but i found the firmware on the site and clicked the link but the site is gone and comes up with an some error on the page bu thanks for the help you guys. ill just have to "wait" until someone finds it which will be like 10 years

moneybankz,can you post the "dead link" 'cause you know were like working " blind " game here you didn't even post other major infos of your player how will we know.never thought of that? :wink:
