ok, theres the problem I got a hacked MP4 player. I had about 1.8gb music when I bought the player so I bought a 4gig mp4 player think there would be enough space on it.

it served me well for about half a year until recently when my music colection just got ever the 2gb mark.

Whenever I loaded the MP4 player up it loaded the menu however if I went to music it would start loading, then restart.

so i did the recovery thing on, got it to show the real 2gb it had and that was ok mainly. except I decided that if i could access the firmware I might just have a look at it and see if I could tinker with it a bit. well you can imagine how i am kicking myself for that now as it appears the MP3 tools doesn't do 9.x firmware so it all went corrupt and wont load.

What I am looking for is new firmware?
