Almost Dead Ipod Nano Clone 2nd Generation 4GB.
 

I think my mp4 player is closing death, i don't know but it just froze in the hourglass position with a blue screen and does nothing else, i charged it for about 12 hrs but it still doesn't work. here is a picture of what it looks like http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/764/p10109182ix7.jpg i hope he doesn't mind if i use his, but this is the same exact copy as mine except mine is 4gb and is stuck on the hourglass thingie. I don't know the firmware and i don't have the dump.bin and i checked every part of it and there is no way to open the thing. Also when i connect to my PC it does recognize it as ADFU driver and thats about all. Please help!

I would pretty much say its pretty much 99% dead

use s1fwx to extract your friend's mp4 firmware then upload it to yours using mp3 utilities upgrade tool
