guys please help me get a firmware for this mp4 and the tools needed for modding it....thanks... :?

Hi angelprone,

Is there a reason why you would need another firmware? Don't try to update the firmware on your player if it's working ok as the risk of a having a dead player as a result is high.

Can you give us some more information about it? Like it's firmware version? You can find that out in the "Setup" menu. Also tell us what video format it plays. Where did you buy it from etc....?

hi admin thanks for the reply....my cousin gave it to me...

it keeps on hanging and it just became dead last week....i need to reprogram it and i dont have any firmware for it (see the attached picture)...

i really need your help...please give me a full firmware to recover this dead phone....

guys...look at the posted picture at the first post...anyone with the same pmp?.....please give me a link of the original firmware of the said pmp...thanks....

there is big problem in finding firmwares for players

There are n=many players that look like thsis BUT are different, so even if someone had this player it may look the same but will be different on the inside and will not use same firmware

these players are cheap and come with no manufacturer so it is almost impossible t find correct frimware

you need to supply more detailed information and image is not the way to see

is there a brand name on it, number or anything

try email them and ask for firmware

guys i opened the mp4 and found that the chipset was SUNPLUS SPMP3052A-HL171.....the brand is SONY PMP MP4 made in japan...but i think it's fake....

the picture is attached on the first post...please send me the actual firmware for this mp4...it's dead....i need to recover it....

anyone...please.... :( :(

i tried the 3052a firmware from your given link but after i uploaded it to my mp4...it boot up then the display is in reversed (text is written in reverse...it looks like your reading the text and display from the other side) and it is locked up....menu dont respond with the buttons....it has a "lock" icon beside the battery icon....

pls guys help me on this....
