Help me hourglass of death

Hello guys, I have an mp4 ipod third generation style. When I turn the device, appears the famous hourglass of death. After many attempts
I did recognize my device to my PC as "Actions USB 2.0 (HS) WinUSB Device" but I can't continue because the upgrade tool does not recognize the player. I opened the player and this is what I found wrote:

hynix KOR
HY27UTO88G2m
TBCB 743AA

AK1025
7GO28BA 0IA

I hope that someone help me, thank you and sorry for the bad English

Hi Marco16, thank you for your answer, I already followed the guide, but I can't continue the proceedings because I fail to recognize my mp4 the PC as ADFU device ... I tried to manually select "adfuupdate.inf" but I'm blocked by a window that says "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware "....
thanks and sorry for bad english

Hi, thanks, I tried to use drivers that you have shown me, but the message is always the same: "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware"....

ThE_DriLL
from your first post it is clear that the computer is recognising your player as Actions USB 2.0 (HS) WinUSB Device but the tool you are trying to use is not recognising your player............so as much as my experiance for that you have to use another tool.If you player is recognising as Actions USB 2.0 (HS) WinUSB Device then use the mp3 player updating tool 4.18 or high versions.
I hope it will help you to get out of the dead lock from your player.

Re: Help me hourglass of death

ThE_DriLL,shorting the pins again will do the trick.Assuming you have installed the latest Mp3 Utilities Tool. And when asked for driver, always use the RECOMMENDED OPTION.Ignore the WINDOWS LOGO error then continue.Your player should be in ADFU mode now.

I prefer you use version 4.15 Upgrade Tool.
