[solved] Dead player CMX MP3 1000 after updating firmware
 

I have CMX MP3 1000 Monster player Rockchip RK2608A(B72907 0737). After upgrading I turn on player but if I move down with joystick he showed screen like if are connected to pc. I can't play music, video, browse pictures and if i go to settings i can't choose upgrade in system. Sorry for my english i am from slovakia. Plz somebody help me.

Thanks to all who help me :D I solved my problem. I downloaded Fixtool from this forum and it's really work.

So you just ran FixTool on your player and it has fixed the problem?

Yes I ran Fixtool and I selected Erase COMM. Then I upgraded firmware and player work fine.

What firmware did you use? Did it come with your player's CD? Or did you download it from somewhere?

I downloaded firmware from cmx-electronics.com but i downloaded firmware for cmx mp3 1000 not for cmx mp3 1000 monster because firmware for MONSTER didn't work. I don't understand why.

Then clicked on the "Firmware MP3 1000 Monster Stand September 2007" link? Was that the one? I want to upload this to the site so others can use just in case.

Yes at first i downloaded firmware for CMX MP3 1000 MONSTER but if i upgrade my player (CMX MP3 1000 MONSTER) with that firmware then i turn on player but there are showing the screen like if player is connected to PC but player isn't connected to PC. Next think is if i move down there are showing same screen like in the first case. I repeat upgrade 5x but player didn't work. Then I downloaded this firmware --->CMX ELECTRONICS
and upgrade my player. Player work fine but video is very bad i can't watch movies. I am so sad :( . CMX ELECTRONICS have bad firmware for this player.

Hi ALL :D . Everybody who own CMX MP3 1000 Monster and downloaded firmware from cmx-electronics.com and player don't work a have fixed firmware. You Can download from HERE CMX ELECTRONICS delete the firmware from their site for yet. This website is the only one place where you can download this firmware.
Admin please upload the file to your server for backup. Thx
