upgarded or have corrupted it with wrong firmware
 

I recently bought a new MP4 palyer.It does not play any MP3 for more than 10 seconds. I took it to the buyer. He did not agree for an exchange. I formated and tried to upgrade., but I am unsuccessful . Existing version was 9.1.52. I downloaded and degraded to see if it works for 9.48. I think I have upgarded or have corrupted it with wrong firmware.
Can somebody guide me thru this or post the right firmware for this cute player of mine. I am really worried.

Hi deepaknr,

It looks like you've upgraded your player with an incompatible firmware.

Have you gone through the DEAD PLAYER RECOVERY GUIDE yet? If not, you will have to so you get your player to a state where you can put another firmware on it.

Then have a read of this post here --> S1 MP3 PLAYER firmware download site - s1fw.com. When you take your player apart, you will need to note down the Plate and Board ID numbers so you can search for a compatible firmware on s1fw.com.
