Rockchip RK2706 player now only has a 60Megs partition

Is there any place to upload the images and firmware? The firmware is in folders and i dont gave a decent digital camera so the pictures wont be the greatest. Of course i got the player from ebay.
Any yeah no doubt they are pieced together. my brother bought a vx858 clone and there are images for email and phonebook on the bottom of the screen.
Main issue is that it wont play all of the different video formats they say it can: MOV, WMV, mpeg, mpeg4. Second is that the sound only comes out of one of the earpieces and i chedcked to make sure it just wasnt the earphones. Third is that the radio is all out of sync. I try to go to the classical station and im hearing country.

To upload your extracted firmware go to this page:-
http://www.mympxplayer.org/dload.php (you will need to be logged in)
Then click on the drop down "Select a category", scroll down to "uploads by members" and press enter, then at the top of the screen you will see an "Upload" button, then just click on it to go to the upload screen.

I bought two players. the both look the same on the outside but inside are slightly different. Here are the pics:

Also it kept saying the connection to the server was rest when i tried to upload the firmwares using this places' upload so i did it through rapidshare. The first one is a firmware that worked on my first clone and also with the one from tinydeal from this site. The second is for the other clone i own that isnt compatible with the one from tinydeal. Oh yeah on my players i changed the backgrounds but the files are from the original.

how your change the background on this player ??

you use any tool ??
I have bought this player, and have a some bugs into the firmware. When i try change the music its don't change using the <<or>> buttons.

Can you help-me ??

and i edit the BMP0.bin thing under the resources folder in the firmware partition. Images have to be 320*240 i think but i dont really remember. Its real easy to use. Also with the bug that yours has have you tried recalibrating it? One of mine has that same problem after being left alone for a while but recalibrating usually temporarily fixes that. Also there are a few firmwares here for the players that look like this. I uploaded two and there was another from tinydeal. maybe one of these can help. But also try asking the person you bought it from if they can supply you with a new firmware or player first. BE SURE TO MAKE BACKUPS OF YOUR ORIGINAL FIRMWARE FIRST.

the hardware is very simple and to put firmware on it also very simple.
I'm using the RK27 ver. 2.5 tool on it, and it works every single time. as a matter of fact if get it empty,(the 60 meg area) you can format it under ntfs, then just put yer dirs on it and off you go. But I strongly recommend to use the tool as it also loads the boot.bin and saves you all the manual fiddling and the b.s workaround to get it running right.
I've must of reflashed it at least 20 times al ready with diff firmwares.
none of them really worked or some just half ass way.
I think the main problem lies with the touch navigation.
you need to have a proper driver loaded and IT MUST BE the right one to it.
one thing..with the right tools you can costumize the hell out of it ..

I just need Demetris to pass along his firmware for me, so I could get down and dirty..lol

Like I've said I just need the right firmware to get it started up.
I was thinking diff hardware mods to it.. like a TV out and some other ones, but space is limited.
I have typed out a beginners guide to flash with the RK27 tool. I'm gonna post it, to try to help other unfortunate and not tech savvy ppl.

hey all, i have the RK27SDK mp4 model,
however i am having problems. Whenever i try to go into the music section eg all music, artists, albums and genres it keeps coming up with updating media library.. and then goes back to the main menu? so it wont let me access this. how do i fix this???

this could be due to bad media files or incorrect ID tags, try only loading 1 or 2 songs and see what happens, if you download music from file sharing then they could have incorrect or corrupt tags
