Dead SUNPLUS 3050A - Firmware Problem
 

Hey Guys out there!...

i'm just looking for a firmware suitable for this model of MP4..

its been 1 week on me since i'd bought it from a chinese store near us.

i can't use the unit anymore.

the only thing it shows up when open is just the welcome screen.

i really need a suitable firmware.
i'd tried working on the firmware already given by other fellows but the BIGGEST PROBLEM for me is HOW TO DETECT THE DEVICE FROM MY PC!!!??

- i don't know why i've got a couple of combinations on navigation buttons but still i'm not lucky to detect the device from my pc..

HOPE to your Help guys!!

- i wish it could help others too who has this kind of mp4, for back - up purposes or who has a-like problem.

the problem now is WHAT TO PRESS AT MY MP4 TO EXTRACT OR DETECT IT FROM MY PC AS A DEVICE.

My advice is to dont wait becasue i too have the 11 units like this.what happened to your player is a kind of blockage in the memory and it mostly happen if you use any pic as a background on the MP4 and then suddenly the screen got white and then nothing.I can share my experiance with this kind of units.I have doned every thing which i was able to do to make this kind of player to detect as a camera-device.I have tried the test-point technice,i have changed the SD-ram ,i have changed the CPU too but nothing........... i have tried to trace this player from every where but no responce.with all that what i was able to change i got nothing.........neither the player is repaired nor i got able to make it detect as the camera-device.So in my conculsion dont hope much on it.

yes i won't expect to0 much for this kind of mp4 unit but i hope so someone could find a way to make it detectable.

please pm hir for any future related answer in positive much more meaning uhmm.. specifically if u found the technique to detect it please have a reply on how to..

Hey GoodTrip, I have the same model buh ma Problem is Different...My player has become dead:x .....Anyways to activate camera mode : First Press " M " button and " A " button at the same time and then Plug the USB lead into the computer...Hope that works;) ....Hey If you can get me the itx Firmware i'll be extremely grateful...:D:D
