Rockchip RK2706 Died - Not show the hidden partition

Hi, I have a problem with my MP4 8GB Onda VX747 clone with Rockchip RK2706, made the mistake of changing the file STRINGID.BIN with the program Rockchip Tool: Text Label Editor http://www.mympxplayer.org/rockchip-tool - text-label-editor-wed-aug-06-2008-1255-PM-df900.html.

After that, MP4 died and shows no hidden partition (60Megs), only shows the partition where are the MP3 files, videos, etc.. Within this partition is rkusb.tag file.
I have backup firmware original, but the problem is that no longer shows the hidden partition.
These are the details:

3" 16:9 8GB

I tried this program, but I copied the original firmware folders to the partition where are the media files, rather than hidden partition.

What else can I do? thanks.

Re: Rockchip RK2706 Died - Not show the hidden partition

I have had the same problem as you, but I was trying out a bad firmware, editing the STRINGID.BIN should be ok unless you edit it directly on the 60Mb partition itself.
These is another tool that can help too. called RK27DM, you can get it here http://www.mp4nation.net/forum/viewt...hp?f=38&t=4840

I had to open my player to get the Rockusb driver installed, but if the "R" button is active on the RK27DM tool, then it means the driver is already installed so you wont need to open your player, what I did is posted here, just follow the thread:-

Good Luck

Re: Rockchip RK2706 Died - Not show the hidden partition

Thanks! Recovered my MP4! :D

To recover follow your instructions, but I did something different, the first use RK27DM.exe program, which allowed me to be able to install the Rockusb driver, after doing so did not show any partition, it occurred to me to open the program RK27Upgrade_v2.5 and finally was recovered.
The only bad thing is that lost all multimedia files, but this is not really that important.

Thank you, I served much your help!
Greetings.
