Before I begin, I must state that it was myself that caused the fake ipod to die. I wanted to upgrade the firmware from 3.5.35 to 3.5.37.........messed it up and didn't have a backup.

Anyway....I have followed the instruction in the recovery guide. I can get to the stage where I can see the player as a ADFU Server. I then use the mp3 upgrade tool (v4.07)to put on a 3.5.35 firmware full version. It says its successful. I then user the same mp3 upgrade tool to load a 3.5.35 dump.bin and again its says successful. I have repeated this multiple times with different firmware for what I belive is my devce and always the same issue. I end up with this screen............

What do I know about the mp3/4 Player before I destroyed it.........

says it was 4 g....but now only shows 2g
Its looks almost like the one in the picture above except white.
Before I upgraded the firmware I looked at the version on the machine and it stated SC8505IE version 3.5.35
