almost completely gone

I've got a player here with the actions chip from what I've learned from this site. However, the player will not come alive at all. I turn it on and the screen stays blank. I don't even get an hourglass on it. It died after trying to delete some music via the onscreen delete option. Learned I corrupted the firmware and tried to re-load it. So far no luck. if someone could help me rez this biznatch I would be very freakin' grateful!

As I said, the screen stays blank. No hourglass at all. I can get it to detect as a removable disk drive, but that's it. load files on even, but can not load the player to listen to them. I really just need it to play some music, don't need the movies and all that. JUST MUSIC. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Did you update with new firmware? Does your player's light is working ok, check on sunny place (watching some shapes)? Check your player's crystal! maybe loose connection. resolder it. Check your coil 100h. maybe chipped. check your 662s or 65z regulator 3 volts. clearly resolder them nand chip and main chip. check resistor 4R4 (4.4ohm) or 2R2 (2.2ohm)or 1R5(1.5ohm) after connects to S4 diodes.
