Re: rockchip rk2706 more than dead...
beenchee,
try this software http://www.mp4nation.net/downloads/s...UPGRADEKIT.rar It helped me. Maybe it'll work in your case too. 1. Start the program 2. Choose the firmware (the one attached) 3. Connect the player 4. Click the button with U 5. Then just confirm several times. If it works your player should be visible in windows as a new drive. If so then 1. Copy teclast.sys to the player 2. Disconnect it 3. Connect again. You should be able to see the hidden partition. 4. Copy over your original firmware. 5. Disconnect the player 6. Switch it on. Let us know if this works. Good luck PS Inspiration makd511 :) in this thread http://www.mympxplayer.org/rockchip-...k-vt11084.html |
Re: rockchip rk2706 more than dead...
@bo_lek
at first...thank you :) the followed your instruction from point 1-5, although i clicked the R button, and now the player is visible in windows again :)...so far, so good :) but the next step to reactivate the hidden partition failed, although i followed your instructions :( no hidden partition is shown... futher, i opend the rk27dm software and choose tl-t50.rkw file, pushed the r-button and he started to do something. the operation seemed succsessful (without knowing what i has done). but nevertheless, the hidden partition doesen't appear :( |
Re: rockchip rk2706 more than dead...
by the way...the player, former shown as rockshipxxx, is now shown as teclast digital player.

It is visible vas teclast device as you used their software. I'm kind of lost you don't see the hidden partition after copying the teclast.sys file. It worked in my case. |

So let's try to run the software this time with U button. After successful completion copy the teclast.sys file, disconnect and connect again, and let's pray you see the hidden partition :D BTW you've got the original FW, haven't you? |
did you get promted at any point to install new drivers by windows
sometimes the U button does not activate, i have pressed ther R button before and it failed, but when i disconnected and then reconnected the computer asked for new drivers, i pointed it to the rockchip drivers and the partition was there, reformatted it and all was well |
Re: rockchip rk2706 more than dead...
soo...here i'am :)
this morning, i opened my mp4 player and i saw an a ship named rockchip 2706. so, can i be sure that my player is based on a rockchip, can't i? i think to install the tl-t50.rkw was the wrong way, wasn't it? when i connect my player to the pc, there is still only found one boot-letter, not the hidden partition :( it seems, that windows has the right usb-drivers and it didn't asked me to install any drivers again. when i connect the player, the screen went white...but nothing more :( please help me find my hidden partition to install the firmware again :) |
