I tried to reset it but it still doesn't show anything. Yeah it is basically like a storage now because I formatted it thinking it would be reset, after trying the "reset hole" but that didn't work either. Help?

I am assuming you have consumer update installed already. That's the application that updates your players firmware. If not download it off your disc or from this website. Hook the player to your computer and let it rip. Let me know how it goes.

It didn't even read my mp4 player as a usb drive...
I returned it to get a replacement...Hopefully that happens. But Thank you guys for your time.
