Re: RK2706 ---- Hide Partition :/
I change firmware for this:
http://www.mympxplayer.org/rockchip-...910-df927.html Unfortunately this firmware doesn't work for my player :/ I repair in this way: http://www.mympxplayer.org/rockchip-...k-vt11084.html When i connect player to the usb i can't see "partiotion with firmware" ; however i see this: http://img152.imageshack.us/my.php?i...eztytuuai7.jpg Sorry for my English  Thanks |
Re: RK2706 ---- Hide Partition :/
Copy this file to the root of the memory:
frk.tag Then you will have acces to the hidden part with the firmware. If this not work you need to rename the file, I think makd511 will be able to give you the different names. I had the list but lost it, sorry  |
try and rename the rkusb.tag file to teclast.sys
did you make a copy of your original firmware for your player |
Re: RK2706 ---- Hide Partition :/
It doesn't work :/
http://img530.imageshack.us/my.php?i...eztytuule5.jpg |
did you make a back up of your firmware??
|
download these files
http://www.ebay.vpunk.co.uk/recovery tool.7z locate the file called setup.rkw copy this to your player at the start/root of the drive disconnect the player safely from windows if player is on turn it off now connect the player again windows might now detect a new hardware if it does it will ask to install the device install the device BUT when it asks for DRIVERS make sure you tell windows to look for drivers in the folder called "Rk27 Driver" included in the download do this and see if it will now re activate the partition |
..and if that doesn't work you might also like to use the "R" button on RK27DM.exe (Rockchip Device Manager) program just to get your player into rockUSB mode - (monitor this in remove hardware icon manager)
http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...lipboard01.jpg Then you can use the Upgrade tool to install the firmware folders (no rkusb.tag needed) download upgrade tool here:- http://www.mympxplayer.org/rockchip-...v25-df881.html Player needs to be in RockUsb mode to use this, remember to check this in remove hardware icon manager) http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...lipboard03.jpg So 1) If your player is dead and your firmware partition is damaged then connect it to usb. 2) Run RK27DM.exe and load in any RKW firmware. 3) If the R button is active just press it, (if no R button is active then install the rockusb27.sys driver) 4) Click YES on the 2 message boxes that come up and watch for the RockUsb icon (in remove hardware) 5) when you get the icon close the RK27DM.exe program (still with the RockUSB icon active) 6) Run the upgrade tool you just downloaded. 7) Load firmware folders into upgrade tool. 8 ) Press the upgrade button and watch it do it's thing 9) When finished you just need to format the main 8GB memory in Fat 32 I used this method to recover my player when i corrupted the firmware by shutting the pc down with the player connected.. It worked a treat for me, but remember it doesn't work if your firmware partition is good. but you can use teclast.sys or rkusb.tag on a good partition instead.. |
cheers knob for posting that
the file i have uploaded is the small file used by the prgram when clicking the R button (recover) i tried my method with an mp4nation user that bricked their s:flo and could not get the prigram to run at all, it worked and windows kicked into life when reconnected, so its kind of a shortcut to using the program that may not work on certain computer, i have asked the user here to try this to see if it will work again BTW i have an english version of the prog noe new 1.41 version, i will upload later, its from ramos v8 player but will be good for recovery cheers |
