Default Correct firmware for Konaki CDT-4?

Hi everyone. Ok, as many others before me, I trusted the "firmware upgradable!" statement on my MP4 player specifications, and now I have a blank screen. I used the one that came in my mini cd and that one gave me the problem, and I read that the one that comes on the CD is not always the correct one. Does any one knows what is the firmware version that I should use for a Konaki CDT-4 MP4 touch player? I know is Rockchip, but not the version. If anyone could help me would be excellent, since this was supposed to be a gift for my daughter. Thanks in advanced.

shout at your seller, it said upgradeable and it provided the firmware and it was naff, start to complain if no response put a claim in fr the money bac and the price is way too high for that player from ebay, try your best to to get them to refund as they are to blame here

like i just said to nexus it may be impossible to find a firmware that works bacuase so many of these are around even if they look alike does not mean it will work

we will try an see if there is anything but first i would try and get the money back as we can direct you to much better players for same or less

paypal and dispute is actually the easier option than searching for firmware

Thanks for the recommendations. Sadly I am unable to return the device since I bought it from Ebay, but to an individual and not to a storefront, and I believe the seller is not responsible for this, since the player was working before the upgrade. In case anyone has any information regarding this, I opened the device and this is what I have found so far:

Samsung 816
K9HBG08UIA
PCB0

SEC Korea 849
KM416S4030AT-G10

8080 (Printed on the green board)

JH70-D (Printed on a flat ribbon cable)

ROCKCHIP
RK2608A
B92288 0815

Hope this info helps identify the correct firmware. In other posts, I realized that my Player is not a clone, but a clone of a clone. Its a clone of the VX858LE with camera, and this VX858LE is a clone of the i-touch (lol).

Hi. Last night I installed the firmware from the link, and also other two that I found and same thing, just a blank screen. And for me is not even logic, since most of these VX858LE clones, have an identical interface, so instead of a white screen it at least should show some icons. Who knows :-(

Since you player is DEAD and you don't want to send it back here are some more firmwares you might like to try:-

These are NOT upgrades and are for DEAD player recovery only.
