i orderd this

when i got it home i tried to update the firmware on the disk when i did it it took EVERYTHING off of the mp3 player thers nothing on it at all Is there anything i can do to fix it ????? please help meeeee !!!!

hi

you say you used the firmware on the disk, if so i would first shout like hell at geeks.om and give them a severe bollocking and ask for replacement immediately

now wrong firmware on these cd is not uncommom at all but i would expect geeks to be a little more careful than normal sellers who churn out this rubish

why i say contact them is because it will be amost impossible to find a firmware that will work as there aare so many variations out there

fisrt port of call, kick up a fus with geeks, it will save alot of hassle

im sending it back in and there are sending me another brandnew one YAY i just have to get the money to ship it backto them.. hmm

will they reimburse you for the cost of sendig back the player??

now, do not update from the cd again :)

these players are mass produced in many different factories and they put anything in the package, like dodgy cd roms that have nothing to do with the player at all - its the same all over with these things

also, unless konata has their own website you will not find any updated firmware for this playerm noe will you be able to do any modding of the lok of the player

even if you see a player that looks like your do not try and use the firmware as it may well have actually come from another factory using the same open design

konata are not manufacturers or designers of this player they ju st stick their name on it and sell it
