well this is the firmware partition and those are the firmware files, just copy your originals over all these

so you say you made a copy of your original files?? if so you should have a similar set of folders to these on your omputer .. yes.

if not then we need to find some from somewhere

if you have originals from your player
ten

delete the files o the player partition
copy over the files from your back up on to the partition
do not disconnect the player until you have copied over all the files and the firmware partition has the same named folders in BUT the ones from YOUR backup
dafely disconnect and reset the player

does the player have a reset hole???
if not try and hold the power switch down for just over ten seconds to force a reset

if you have backed up your originals you should be fine here

Hi hotboxx..

I cant download the file. Is there any other site to download it. I try using Eon_Slide_R_Firmware_v1.09 but my player showed white screen after booting.
I've another problem, now i cant see the system partition even using rkusb.tag and my mp5 showed white screen after installing Eon_Slide_R_Firmware_v1.09

not sure if this will work on your fake rm970 lookalike player
but try and press and keep pressing the M button and then connect to the computer (keeping M pressed), wait a while and see if windows recognises that player (may take 10 seconds or so)

if not then you need to look in the firmware for the eon slide with a hex editor and find the name of the files used to access the partition, it may be a different name than the rksub tag

also do you have a backup, i am unsure from what you write here, if not then you can not recover the player, it needs to be the original or from an identical player

try renaming the rkusb.tag file to this:

Wisky.sys

rkusb.tag wont work with the eon firmware as it is not referenced anywhere so rename the tag file to that i have stated above

but again, you need your own firmware files

thanks a lot.. wisky.sys work.. I've found the missing partition. I copied my original firmware files.. but after reset (hold play button for a few seconds and heard a tick sound) but the screen still blank (black color).

mm, i wonder if you have the same problem as another user i that the lpayer is actually working but the backlight setting is wrong and is set on a faulty one mking the screen black??

when you turn the plyer on now do you get the stat up animation then the screen go black??, if so then we can blindly navigate to the settings screen and adjust the bright setting
