Mp3 Utilities' Mp3 Player Firmware does not detect mp3player

Wassup all
I have had a problem with my mpx player firmware (and i have two same mpx players - started with same firmware version and firmware), so i tried to reinstall it. however, being a bit careless, i extracted the firmware from a working one, to try to flash the non-functional mpx player. turns out, the firmware extracted was somehow broken or corrupt, or the extractor did not support extracting this type of firmware. so i ended up with a firmware of v0.0.0 or something like that.

so i had extracted the FW and i went to the MP3 Player firmware update program to try to install it. Forgetting to change mp3 players, i ran the process and the functioning mp3 player had its firmware wiped clean =A=.
without noticing what had happened to the first one, i realized that i had modified the wrong mp3 player, so i switched it around and ran the process again.

now i have two mp3 players, both FW wiped, and they both freeze at starting loading screen =A=.

the Board ID (im not sure what this is) might be:
K9LAG08U0M
PCB0 FEF620PCB

but this is printed on a chip that is on the board, so i am not so sure if this is the Board ID.

On the side where the controls are, it reads:
YSB16207V4-B
2006.12.25 SZR
(the 6 in the 2008 in the previous line may be another number, possibly 8?)

CPU is AK1025 70003AA 04P (is this right?)

i have tried to reinstall new firmware, using the "Product Tools" program, however, every attempt has resulted in an error message. i have the "Actions USB 2.0 (HS) WinUSB device" driver installed on my computer, which is running Windows XP Professional SP2. The MP3 Player Utilities' MP3 FW Update does not detect my mp3 player at all =A=.

thats all of the information i can think of now, if anymore information is required, please ask =D

Thanks for listening/reading/whatever you wanna call it =w=b

That's the closest based on the board ID (YSB series), even though it's supposed to be for a 2091N CPU. You could try that or some of the other AK1025 firmware.

hi again
about that download link you posted to me
it doesnt work for some reason
it says "there is no such file or directory"
so does that mean there is no more download avaliable for this firmware?

Try using a FTP client such as FlashFXP or FileZilla, some browsers may not properly encode Chinese characters.
