help me i think i destroyed my new mp4

im exploring my mp4 in my computer, finding a solution to play a video in my mp4. and i notice that my mp4 got a virus ( i went to a computer shop to to surf the net).

now i format it. my god! it malfunctioned!. i look at the manual and said i should format it in FAT! but i format it in FAT32!.

now another problem came. i accidentally click the mp4 tools partition and reduce my mp4 capacity into half!. before it was 4gb now it was 2gb!!.

please people im begging you what should i do...i just bought this yesterday...

i thank you in advance.

You should just format again, and install firmware. Now, you should check a thread around here where you are told how to detect if your mp4 actually has the capacity you have been sold. Read a little more the topics here, you might learn a thing or two.

Do not reinstall the firmware at this point. Follow the "removing memory hack" guide to get your player formatted properly and find its true capacity. If it's really 4GB it'll be back to 4GB.
