Rockchip touch screen it went blank after upgrading
Please sum one i need help with my Rockchip Touchscreen
it went blank after Upgrading it my guess a bug or something. I already downgraded, Firmware on there now is the original one from the disk it came with i figured that was better than downloading it on the web from what ive read its not good. This is the one on there right now. ---------------------------------------------- digital-touch.rfw Chip Vendor: RockChip Chip Part-Number: RK260X Product Vendor: (N/A) Product Model: MP3 Player ---------------------------------------------- I used (ChipGenius_v2.64) to Identify it This is a picture of what it looked like before i Upgrade. http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...uppet/ipod.jpg Now its just a white blank screen. I can connect it to my Windowsxp pc and it will read it and i can load and unload music or files. so it reads (Rochchip connected) and also when i turn it on if i press the top left touch key it will play my music. but i cant see anything. The only way i was able to download the firmware was by Holding the Menu button at the bottom middle and then connecting the usb cable. then used the program it came wth and so on....... after that downgrade screen was still Blank. everything works fine its just that blank screen. ive been searching for help for a while now and ive found a website now so please if any one knows or has been threw this problem and has fix it please really really please Help me. Dont know what to do. |
you would not even begin to guess how many people have had this very problem, you are not the first and will not be the last
all you can do is download and try as many firmwares for your player type as possible, look for firmwares which mention "onda vx858" clone etc as this is what this player design is based on its too late now but i wish you could have seen this before :( http://www.mp4nation.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3523 all i can say is look for new firmwares and its pot luck from there, you may hit upon one that works, with so many different variations on this design its hard to say what is what try in the downloads on this site, in the onda forums on www.mp4nation.net/forums/ and also here as someone claimed they had one that worked from this link oo ppps ts bookmarked on myother machine, put it in later |
Any othe suggestions...
Thank you |
possibles here http://www.s1fw.com/ROCK2608-Chip/list_16_5.html and you may also need to take the player apart to get all the relevant board number and then look heree http://www.mympxplayer.org/s1-mp3-pl...om-vt8930.html

Another member has found a firmware that worked at the end of this thread, no guarantees but it's worth a try.
