Frozen MP4 Player
First Off thanks for helping whoever bought these confusing mp4 players.
So I bought these mp4 player like a week ago. Like this one mp4 player It worked fine for 2 days, music was good, video was working an all. Then the hour-glass screen would just stay there for ever. Sadly this has been the case since then. I let the players battery die and see if it worked. Nothing! Here a pix of the inside of the player Photobucket Is there something we can do to reset it or restart it? thx in advance. |
Re: Frozen MP4 Player
Corrupted firmware.
Your picture needs to include the bottom half of the player as well... also the board# might be on the other side. All I can see is that the CPU is an AK1025 and the flash is 16Gbit (2Gbyte). |
Re: Frozen MP4 Player
You're totally correct about it being a 2 GB player. When I bought it, it was advertised as an 8 GB player but when I formatted it came out to be a 2GB player.
I unscrewed the top half of the player but i couldn't find any numbers on it, just the black screen and a thin brown film but no numbers. You think you can post a picture of what you're referring to. |
Re: Frozen MP4 Player
For example, this is an H45-3-A.
http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/3047/img34608ww.jpg The numbering might be anywhere on the board. If you really can't find the board ID, then do the dead player recovery procedure to get it into ADFU mode, then try all the AK1025 firmware for player with similar appearance. |
