Default Dead MP3 Unknown Cause

Not much detail, a player I got as a gift from China. It's 1GB mp3, no video... not much detail. It loads the start up screen and says 'Starting...' but it won't load up. After many attempts of flicking on off, waiting, blowing in the speakers (lol like SEGA game cartridges, this actually worked the first few times) and tapping it, which also worked. Now it completely won't after an hour of trying, when I shake it there's a rattling noise. Is there anything I can do? I charged the player to full already as well, so I'm sure the battery has power.

Hmm the idea of luckily turning it on and stickytaping the on/off switch worked for about 20 days... But eventually it reset, tried for ages trying to turn it on. I even opened it up, the cause of the rattling was a bit of chipped plastic (edge of case fell inside). I then tried to see if it would still work as a usb... But now it says new device recognised. S1MP3 ADFU driver. Any1 have any clues?

The memory chip is a Samsung 646 1GB, it has a SPT chip on the back and another chip under a battery with no identifyable words as it got torn off by the adhesive tape sticking the player down.

Ok I copied this from my thread: http://www.mp4nation.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6699 can anyone help me revive this player? I certainly did NOT try to upgrade the firmware in anyway or form (hahaha who'd want to try a theme on this thing!) it just turned that way when I switched it on one day.

Can anybody help me through msn, on either of my players? My email is kego6k@hotmail.com

Probably bad soldering somewhere on the PCB, most likely the data bus leading from the flash to the CPU.
