Philips SA2323/37 aka SA23xx flash player
Went to the philips site and downloaded the exact firmware for my Philips SA2323/37 2Gig model. I ran it and it automatically started to update. Now it wont power up anymore meaning the screen wont turn on! My PC now no longer see's it as a philips device, but a USB Memory Bar. I have no other solution than to try and get into its recovery mode somehow but dont know how as I dont know where to short the wires on the flash chip. Here are my specs:
Board model:M94V-0 by Perception Digital also shows on board: SA2Xxx v2.5 Microcontroller looks to be STM B57963 Flash chip is a Toshiba J39510 Screen GY0231/07/21 Any ideas on what I should try and do next? Essentially, everytime i try and run that Philips Device Manager, it sees an issue with the firmware, tries to repair it and always errors out with this message "Failed to update the firmware on device". Then I have to format it again to be able to use it like a memory stick. The screen on the device shows nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Post pictures of the main board. It doesn't seem to be an Actions chipset, and the B57963 is probably an FM radio chip.
