Dead MP4 AK1025 / DFM-090B FPBX / SCC91-036 V0.1 2007.01.17

I've managed to hose my firmware and am looking to get my unit functional again.

Specs are as follows:
Controller: AK1025
Screen: DFM-090B FPBX
Plate No: SCC91-036 V0.1 2007.01.17
Memory: Hynix HY27UF081G2A

When using MP3 Player Update Tool 3.06, I'm getting the following error: "invalid upgrade firmware file" when I try to load this fw file.

Note: I am getting the "Now is recover state, and select the firmware file for recovering please" message upon opening the tool, so my player is being recognized. There is no current firmware recognized on the device.

Use a newer version of MP3 Player Utility.
