Please I need help! I've searching the forum but still i can't solve it. Sorry i think i posted this first in a wrong place:

"i just downloaded some music and video to this player, and it got stucked. So, after trying any other way.. I had no better idea than press Reset. It appears to be a BIG reset , cause now its like all had gone. No shiny screen not even memory device, it says its unformated memory device when plugged to PC.
Please is there any way to solve this? There wasn´t CD, so i haven't even the firmware.. it was bought several weeks ago via eBay.

After learning about this topic, i tried to use RK27 Device manager, after FAT32 formatting it recognises it as Rk27SDK player. This is so far as I can go: i tried to restore, and then device manager don't recognises any RockUSB device, doesn't detect any player and windows tries to reinstall drivers. I downloaded RockUSB drivers, but windows don't accept it cause it says there is no hardware description on them.

Can anyone help me? Please I begin to desperate!

You must see the Rockusb icon, the player has to be in Rockusb mode for the upgrade to work..

Yes, that's what i was trying.. but there is only one rockusb drivers i've found in download section. I placed them on system32 & selected'em but windows dont accept them. I think rockusb.inf its broken. Can't find womething better googling..
So still in trouble. When RK27dm.exe tries to switch to rockusb mode, windows asks for drivers and it fails.. :cry:

You have the wrong driver.
Should be rockusb27.sys and rockusb27.inf

Wow knob ive going around the forum, you must be a master on fixing this player! ive read many posts (almost all of them are yours!) and I really hope not to need a hard recovery..
I managed to use the way you told me above..
xD lol i hadnt realized driver was included with tool!
Well now this gets weird: after downloading new firmware (and of course i couldnt save the original one), it screen becomes again to life.. with the wallpaper i put before disaster happened. But now, it doesnt react, a low volume bzzz its heard, it tooks too long to power on and shut down on its own after a few seconds.
And ive tried to load other firmwares, now by rkusb.tag method.. This is really odd: the last one i put is the i-phone looking (vertical instead of horizontal) but, each i turn it on it has the same screen i set before it crashed (and it always is frozen, no touch nor key reacting and buzzing)
I hope you have any idea, anyway really thanks for your help! :wink:
