I need "Wilson 3.5.37" dump. Please...

Hi! My player looks like:
http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/5056/1201090001cz0.jpg

Technical:
Flash memory: 512 Mb
Chip: Samsung k9f4008woa
Display: LCD, 1.5", 65536 colors

In player menu "firmware" was written:

LISONG
LSC_802_01
2006/06/19
SDK 3.5.37

In program "RdiskUpdate" written:
S1 MP3 Player
Wilson Co. Ltd.
Version: 3.5.37

I tried many firmware from this site (3.5.37), but i always see black or white screen :(

I hope you will help me ...

You need to open the player and search for some white text written somewhere in the board, that's the board ID and with that you can find right firmware.

Thank you for your reply, sndestroy.

1 - Samsung k9f4008woa
2 - SPT SP3767HN 06FS19
3 - (very indistinct) - ATU2085W FS263AB

That's all there is on the board :(

Unfortunately, I was not able to remove the board. This is hampered by usb and headphone jack. But on top display can see (maybe this will help):
CM500 12ACT6-01ACT6 FRE 060515.

I found this same player:

PLayer front write: sony ex-4278 (fake)
display 1.8 inch

Processor chip ATJ2085Wb f5263a8 564
Memory Samsung 616 K9F4G08U0A PCB0 fudx91AA
FM chip is sp3767HN 06FS19

Buttons are:
front side: <prev> <next> <volume> <menu>
right side <play>

Board ID: QY-"X*"14cv2-stls 2006.05.20
*I can't view first symbol, there is a hole in the board

CM500xx is part of the LCD model number, it helps but in fact is not the board ID. You need to pull the PCB out and search for a white text line written somewhere in it. Its better if you not rely on apparently similar devices, but on your own player ID instead.

To bring the board out start by pulling up the side opposite to connectors, then moving pcb to the right to free it from the metal. The LCD may be glued to case, put gently a bit of force and the whole pcb+lcd will come out...

btw. that player is relatively easy to recover :)

Thank you, sndestroy.

I withdrew the board (prevented small screws under the speaker).
S/N: QY-14C2-STLS 2006.05.20

I have found here:
http://mympxplayer.org/firmware-pma-300010-df385.html
But RdiskUpdate written:
Error / Invalid upgrade firmware file! :(

My player with FM-radio and 3.7 V battery - perhaps because of this?

But now player not responding to the buttons. For example the button "Volume" - now "Next". How can I fix it?
Thanks!

Now my player works - and I use the "waterlily-v1" to change the functions of the buttons. But it is uncomfortable with this firmware. Earlier button | <<and>> | performs two functions:
1. Jump menu (forward - back)
2. If you press Volume, appeared screen of volume control and buttons control the volume
This firmware can not do this.
Can I fix this firmware - http://mympxplayer.org/firmware-pma-300010-df385.html (RdiskUpdate written: Error / Invalid upgrade firmware file!) - because it is ideally suited for such a player?
Thank's !!!

The player at the link you mentioned is the SAME as yours, even buttons & board ID are identical.
So what happened is very strange.. this FW should work without flaws...

Try with different type/version of the update program, i suggest Product Tools 4.19

This firmware can not do this.
How does it work now? Is volume unable to be controlled at all, or forward/back not working?

Re: I need "Wilson 3.5.37" dump. Please...

No, this firmware is working well. I meant that it was more suitable for players who have 6 or more buttons - a separate "forward / back" and "vol + / vol-". The picture I showed that I had only 5 buttons and the bottom two buttons at once served two purposes - "forward / back", but when you click "Volume", the same buttons control the volume.
So I wanted to use the standard firmware - http://mympxplayer.org/firmware-pma-300010-df385.html - but it can not be installed. Can I fix this firmware? Or find a firmware for the player with 5 buttons?
Thank you for your answers!

You have a working player after finding the right firmware, that is more than can be said for many others.

Enjoy your working player.

Oh, i now understand it. lolita, the user tom_tom flashed his player with firmware for another board, not the right one 'cause he says the update program he uses gives an error when opening original (right) firmware file.

I've downloaded this file, extracted dump.bin from it, and opened with Product Tools 4.19 and also MP3 Upgrade Tool 4.15, without a single error. I repeat you, try with another version of upgrade program, maybe yours is an old one.

Download this - Product Tool 4.19
(don't mind the comments, these are just ignorant ppl)
