Ciao! Scusa se ti scrivo in italiano ma non ho molto tempo stasera...
Tutti i tools che ti servono sono qui:
http://www.s1mp3.org/en/downloads_tools.php

Fammi sapere!

Hi,
Nessun problema, ho capito il tuo messaggio
Your picture shows the same mp3 player like mine. Is the brand of yours also Maysak m639a? If not I could be also been manufactured by Wilson .co .ltd. To confirm that we it, please try s1clone and look if your device is also 0x10d6-0xff66 Here some screenshots
If you disassemble your device you can check if you have same chip types/numbers
As you told your device hangs at start/boot. Yes I have the same problem (and it seems that at least 2 more people are also concerned )
If you flash your mp3 with s1clone rename the .bin file in .s1clone

Re: Looking for firmware ATJ 2091N Board ID: MP3 910255

I wrote the serial number of my player in the first post... It's different from your player, I have a hinix memory and board VER 3.0.
If your player has the same bug as mine, we can exclude that it's a memory's anomaly (even if it's not connected with the firmware).

When you connect your player to your pc, does the computer find it even if you don't see the disc in the folder "Computer" (it happens to me too)?

I had an upgrade experience with another player but some firmwares could be installed, even if wrong or incompatible... On the opposite, in this case it looks like it's a communication problem between tool and chip.

I think that we should wait for some new versions of the tool, to be able to load some FW, because I have tried every FW but when you upgrade them, the device is not connected...

Re: Looking for firmware ATJ 2091N Board ID: MP3 910255

In your first post you wrote that you have a board ID:MP3-910255 VER.3.0 and chip ATJ 2091N same as mine.

I have been "reading" my backuped firmware and it seems to be corrupted (no hardware problem) and that could be caused by one of the reasons mentioned here

As you mention when you connect your player to your pc it does not recognize the player as a drive. That is also my case, but when I load "FW 9.1.51_ATJ2091N SAMSUNG 2024MB-FM.bin" the 2GB drive is shown in the folder "Computer" and I can read and play the files inside, but I can either format nor delete or write any files on it. Other parts (Display, buttons, etc.) also don´t work.

You mention you have a communication problem between tool and chip. It is also my case. Tools like: s1fwx, mp3 player tools, mp3 player update tool do not recognize my device (message: the device is not connected) The only way I could write FW was using the tool s1clone and the above mentioned binary file renaming it fom .bin to .s1clone file.

A last question: Is your mp3 player still on the 1 or 2 years guarantee period?

In my case the tool s1clone doesn't work. When the process starts, the tool begins the work, disconnects and reconnects the device but it gets stuck...
unfortunately my player is not under warranty :(

Hi r.invaders,
Did you mean that problems occur during the firmware flashing using s1clone? Which fw did you use?
As soon as I find the proper firmware I will post the link.
Meanwhile I´m still looking for it.
If you find the firmware sooner pls keep me informed.

Hello!
yes, i have a problem during the firmware flashing with s1clone...(but no one tool works properly with my player).
I think it is due to my faulty memory
I just have to hope for a new firmware or tool!
Thanks!!!

Re: Looking for firmware ATJ 2091N Board ID: MP3 910255

we hope that it would not be a faulty flash memory problem.
In this case I`m not sure if it could be solved.
You can open a new post asking about it.
