MP3 Product Tools 5.11
"FS" stands for Full Speed, "HS" for High Speed. These are the USB modes that different player uses, depending on the chipset. Functionally they do exactly the same.
S1clone will work happily on almost any S1 player (normal or ADFU mode), could be a good idea to try that. BUT you need to make SURE the new player is exactly the same as the bad one... how you could do that without opening it, I don't know lol.

yeah you are right sndestroy, i should open the new one, but i prefer to trust on package information, If i see one that's the very same model and specs, that's the one i will try with.
Have you ever tried this MP3 MP4 Tools????, I have seen this one in some websites, but in other forum i read this come with trojans inside, so i'm wondering if i should take the risk.
Thanks for MP3 Player Product Tool v5.11 link, i have already tried that version before and it didn't work, The last version i had was 5.12, but searching through this site, i've found v5.15 link in a regular post:
MP3 Player Product Tool v5.15 from Rapidshare
I was trying to put this link in Downloads section, but i couldn't, I think it should be there.
sndestroy, have you ever seen MP3 Player Product Tool v10.00??? lolita wrote it exists, and can be found in Internet, but i've been searching with no good results, i found v5.19 in chinese website, but i couldn't complete registration process.

I have this "package" for app. 2 months, use it a lot and no problems so far, doesn't come with troyans/viruses or whatsoever they say. Checked OK with avast! Pro and Avira Antivir... it's a very good set of tools, a must-have. It contains all versions of MP3 Upgrade Tools from 1.45 to 4.15, and Product Tools from 4.14 upto 5.18, plus some other bonuses.
Refering to version 10.00... it's the first time I read about this , so I don't have a clue. Anyway, it could be geared towards the new Actions chips (ATJ21xx) and might not work with previous ones, but i'm only speculating. Maybe lolita knows more about this...

diablos!!!!, i've tried more firmwares from S1FW.COM and none can do the miracle; i suspect my mp4 smells like a piece of sh..... ehhmmm, ejem, garbage, just garbage...
I don't understand why the pc installs AGAIN the ADFU driver almost every time I connect the mp4, I'm trying with S1CLONE v1.14, but it can't "see" the mp4, i checked its install path and i found it has another ADFU driver, but when i try to install it, pc claims the path doesn't have information about the hardware.... during one of those tries it installed correctly, then S1CLONE saw the mp4 immediately, after that I tried to write an image from a different MP3 player, but when S1CLONE is triying to open the device, it hangs, no messages at all, it just show something like "opening the device" and that's all....
I REALLY need help, i have experience with computer peripherals, but this simple device is making me losing my hair...... I mean, it's not the money but the pride.....

With s1clone you need to replace the ADFU driver with the one that comes with it. It is in C:\Program Files\s1clone\driver\libusb, and you need to manually replace the driver from Device Manager.
Once you do that, s1clone will start to work , BUT this is the s1giveio driver, and will not work with normal update program. So you will need to switch drivers frequently if using s1clone and Product Tools on a regular basis.
PD. I discovered that s1clone works OK with 3.x.x firmware-based players and normal ADFU driver, this procedure is only required with 9.x.x ones using AK1025, strange but AFAIK this is it.

You should add ACU7515 with v9.1.52 to your list of mp4's which need s1giveio ADFU driver to be seen by S1Clone.
I get your point, but i don't understand why the ADFU driver can be changed sometimes from Mass Product Tool driver to S1giveio driver and sometimes this can't be done..... I mean, sometimes i get the message of "this path doesn't have information about the hardware" and sometimes it is installed without problems.
anyway, have a nice weekend :P all you Mymxplayer readers.

Never seen that chip around here, these are quite strange in my country
Maybe your problem is that with FW upgrades, the player's USB VID/PID changes slightly, according to the firmware... from observation (duh, speculating again...) I see that original ATJ209x chips use PID=FF61, while AK102x clones use PID=FF66, a bit weird considering that these chips are sort of interchangeable. That might be why Windows asks for another driver... then again, some versions of the ADFU driver take into account and work with the clone's PIDs... daaaah, headache...
In the end, what you will do with the player?
pd. Mexico, cierto? ambos sabemos español, y hablando en ingles lol xd

Re: DEAD: BO-15005 TFT70023 v9.1.52 - IQ SOUND SC-4920 - 4GB
So, What am I going to do with the mp4??? look, one friend told me that even if I can buy a new identical device, it could be identical just to the eye, it could have different guts inside, even if i get one that has same model number; i know these devices are not expensive, but mine is a gift, i wouldn't like to throw it, and... i feel a little bit itchy about accepting I couldn't fix it. Maybe, I will buy a similar copy of mine, and i'll continue reading about this topic, i see every time more people with same problem around the world; i don't understand these; if there are so many good programmers around the world (i'm not one of them....), why there are so few software tools to handle chipod's troubleshooting, specially with v9.xx firmwares.
When i started to read about this, i thought i would take a couple of days to fix this, but now i'm wondering if there are more chipods with my very same configuration (screen, board and controller), even you have told this chip is very uncommon in your country. Even worst, as I wrote before, I never saw it due to the assembling of the device... everything is GLUED to everything! I think the manufacturer used glue as insulator; i didn't separate screen from board thinking i could damage both, so, lolita told that my board (BO-15005) uses ACU7515.
