Dead player fixed now no NES emulation!
I have a Sunplus 3050A based player (1GB looks like a small PSP)
that I totally screwed Trying to get pics I know they are horrible (All I have is this damn player and 2 mirrors so don't make fun of me) http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/7...0019ho8.th.jpg http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/9...0021ze5.th.jpg http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/5...0022jf1.th.jpg http://img174.imageshack.us/img174/6...0023og9.th.jpg http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/9...0024bk9.th.jpg http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/2...0025vd7.th.jpg http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/8...0026kd0.th.jpg http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/4...0028mn2.th.jpg again sorry about the quality I had only this MP4 player for a digital camera so I had to take pics in the mirror used 2 to get front view. I'll try to describe it better on the left it has up down left and right keys above that is the power button on the right it has the same pattern but it's X Square Triangle and Circle like a PSP above that is the esc button top of player right has play button like where shutter button is on camera reset button on the bottom SD card slot A/V out headphone jack also forgot on top is usb and hold switch Ok first I screwed my player up by disconnecting the usb cable while writing the RSV with FRM Pro. After searching all night and translating a bunch of chineese and russian websites I found a firmware that didn't make the screen mirrored or white or not work at all.... GREAT Now I can't play ANY NES games NONE I have like 4000 roms on my comp none (well I only tried E or U games) work not even the ones that come with my player. ALSO the battery icon looks like it's constantly charging even while disconnected and the battery goes FAST I mean FAST like 20min and it won't power on unless I connect to outlet I'm at a loss I don't want to take it apart (it isn't mine -yeah I know I shouldn't have tried to update it in the first place but it was freezing occasionally) Two things I noticed though that were positive were the GUI seems faster and video playback seems improved (used to always say "exceptional file play any other file") I'm at a loss I've got to give this thing back in like 2 weeks PLEASE PLEASE help me.... I have about 30-40 different firmwares for various 3050 and 3052 players nothing works except of course the one that won't play NES games so I have no idea what to do now.... I'm good with tech just a little slow sometimes with software so any advice would be great just be detailed about any software I need to use and what to do with it UPDATE I started to take it apart as soon as I got the bottom piece off I saw the PCB number PMP-704-V21.00 now I've seen many firware for this and again none work right either buttons wrong or best I get is no NES which I NEED my friend whom I borrowed this from like to play NES games. |
