blue screen with a sand glass in the middle of the screen

I have bought a mp3/mp4 player off ebay and it has decided it does not want to work anymore after about a week. When i turn it on now it stay on a blue screen with a sand time thing in the middle of the screen and does not go off untill i swith it off or the battie runs out :(

We still need the board ID and preferably the display's part number too.

Do some reading on s1mp3.org to get yourself more familiar with the hardware of these players.
