Are you sure it's a 969M?
ZX-xxx is manufactured by Popchip but I can't find anything on their website about this model. This is the closest I can find, try it: http://www.s1fw.com/Firmware-1/ZX-96...23-de-rar.html Posting pictures of your player can also help with identification process. |

Yes i'm sure about these numbers. i disassembled device. these numbers are written on PBC.
On box there is Ultra-media mp3/mp4 digital player, but on sticker is written Tiger UMP-670, 2GB. It looks like this: http://www.made-in-china.com/china-p...4-UMP670-.html |

Not useful at all, I can't see part numbers or anything that could identify the specific.
But try the ZX-961 firmware. |

Which firmware? Screen orientation may not be correct.

Re: Looking for firmware AK1022 ZX-969M-TSL 2006-11-30
Firmware from your first post to me. I get MP4 Wake up, then shows hourglass rotated 90 degree, then logo also rotated and shifted right (not viewing it all), and then menu. Then if i press any button, getting blank screen.

Re: Looking for firmware AK1022 ZX-969M-TSL 2006-11-30
That firmware was for an MP4 with horizontal 2.0" display, this one:
http://www.popchip.cn/ProductShow.as...BB%8B%E7%BB%8D But since it was able to control yours, your display probably has a similar family of controller and the connectivity is also the same. From that partially working firmware we can find the information about your player: LCM reset: GPIO B4 LCM command/data: GPIO B5 Backlight: GPO A2 Display controller type: PCF8833 compatible family, 1-byte addresses -- possible matches are LDS172/LDS176/LDS183/ST7637. How I found out: http://wiki.s1mp3.org/LCMControllerDetection http://wiki.s1mp3.org/LCMControllers Since you have a Popchip player, go to manufacturer site and find the closest matching model of ping guo er dai from here: http://www.popchip.cn/Product.asp?Bi...20027;控 Then find a firmware for that model and try it. It seems many of them share common connectivity and display type. |
