RockChip Firmware: RK27SDK touchscreen
 

My daughter got this MP4 for Xmas. My DH tried to download some music to it from our desktop and then it like fried it. It now won't do anything. the touchscreen comes on but won't do anything else. My laptop won't reconize the player. I have downloaded the firmware but don't understand how to transfer to fix the player.

can we see the player please, would be a better chance if we has an image of the player and a few more details

as this is an older player (if it is the same as the one in the photo) you will need special tools (consumer update) and some firmwares to try and recover with

firmwares marked vx858 will be for your type, but there is NO gaurentee that it will work, many of these player look the same but do not use the same firmware

note you mention 27sdk, where did you see this info, on the player, if so its not a player like the one linked, we have to be sure exactly whay player you have to help out as they are not all the same
