rockchip rk2706 dead. plz hlp
 

hello dear frnds.. i just got one rockchip rk2706 player..
when i connect this player to the pc it shows me the disc space and opens like a usb pen drive but nothing happens on the device.. means it is dead, no lichts, no display and nothing... plz hlp me what suhud i do...
it shows like 2 gb of space , so it might be a 2gb player, having 2 buttons on top of the tft and 3 buttons at the bottom to the tft.. no other info i hav.. plz hlp me wht shud i do??

has this player ever worked ???

in order to recover the player you need to have the correct firmware files, do you have them at all, u have never ever seen a 2706 player that looks like this one

where did you get it
try and contact the seller for a firmware for this player, if they say thay do not have one than ask tyhen to extract one from a good working player


how did it end up in this state

this player is been recieved from nother country. my frnd has that, his juniors spoiled it by direct turning off from the pwr button instead using the shutdown facility but countinue pressing the play button..

now wen i connect the player it shows as a disc drive sasme as a 2gb pen drive but nothing happpens on the tft, measn no lights or nay function. so i wanna repair it. i did not got any cd of the firmware of this player..
so need all stuff..

i am afraid you need to get the firmware from somewhere

firmware is VERY specific and you need one that exactly match your player, we do not have any on this site for that player

do EXCESS have their own website
find out where is came from and email them for firmware

we can not do anything without firmware
