Looking for chips ak1025 board bks25056_mv6a 071116
 

hi, after hours of clicking and reading i give up and ask. i cannot find firmware that i am sure is correct for my chipod player, currently in adfu mode.

numbers on board are - bks25056_mv6a no:071116

chips - ak1025 and hynix hy27uu08ag5a

now these are the only numbers i can get from the edge of screen - xyxw029-2 followed by 081213-a. both on top edge of screen and no other numbers visible anywhere else on screen. looks much different to screen numbers other ppl post here.

anyways, any help is appreciated thankyou. there isa few more numbers on the chips but they are hard to read. i will try if they are required.

well thankyou but it seems i still cannot get it working. when i use mp3 upgrade tool 3.06 it detects recovery mode but open fw error.

i try Upgrade tool 4.12 and 5.09 they both say nothing about recovery mode, but will open the fw and ssays incompatible. shows NO INFO about my player on the left?? i tried a couple FW from your link but they dont work for me. are they full firmwares from that site?

should i try the actions 9 series fw on this site? when i got it detected in s1clone a while back it had v9 series in the info, but verify failed.

i guess ill just keep trying diff fw. also now there is new driver options? i guess from newer version of mp3 utils. thanks for trying

well i tried all ten results from ur link with various errors ( opening/protocol/incompatible), next stop the actions v9 fw on here i guess. still hoping the jerk who sold me this pos will be nice enough to give me link to fw, but no reply - no suprise either.

Those are all 9.x version.

Try another different version of player utilities.

Here is my problem!
1)I plug my MP4 to PC
2)PC recognized as "USB Device"
3)I try to update driver, i choose adfuupdate.inf in WINDOWS directory, but it's saying that this driver is not supported.

hey matteo123 , sorry i havent seen this in a few days. you need to follow instructions here http://mympxplayer.org/change-adfuupdateinf-vt7686.html thats what i did.

well ive managed to actually uprgade 2 new fw's on there both let me have access in windows, but none will give me a working player.

all the other fw say protocol not the same as previos fw.
matteo if u find the correct fw please let me know.

But I can't even find the right fw ...

I have the same player, and the same problem! Tried loads of different firmwares, the furthest I ever get is to have it working as a USB drive, I never get a working screen/player.

Tried every BKS25056 firmware under the sun!
