Can I recover my dead MP4 player with a backup firmware

Which firmware did you install? Try installing it again.

I installed the firmware again but nothing new, there is still that little rectangle changing colors.
Here it is the firmware I used, BKS25018-V001-L12.fw. Can this firmware be used with my display? Or can you mod with the right display driver?
